Charlottesville, Virginia

June 6, 2012

Charlottesville is a pretty southern town nestled in the mountains of central Virginia, about an hour from Richmond.  It’s home to University of Virginia, the only U.S. university named a world heritage site by UNESCO.  This week Charlottesville hosts the annual Look3 photo festival.  This sounds like a fun event to see in Charlottesville, so if you’re in Richmond, Washington, D.C., or anywhere in Virginia this week you should head on over to Charlottesville for some art!  You could also have the opportunity to take some amazing photography master classes.  Here are my favorite photos from this year’s featured Look 3 photographers: 1. Alex Webb2. David Doubilet 3. Stanley Greene
