Spanish & Morrocan: My Favorite House

January 13, 2011

I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite houses ever from House Beautiful magazine.  There are some Morrocan fabrics and ottomans.. hope they can spice up your morning!  They are set in impeccable fashion in this Spanish-style house in Ojai, California.  Flairs of Spain and Morrocco come together throughout the house to create a dream-like domestic perfection that’s both sunny and inviting.  These fabrics and colors can keep you dazzled and dreaming for months . . . enjoy!  Source:  Designer Kathryn Ireland’s home in Ojai, California, via House Beautiful

Of course I had to include the Ireland's adorable Jack Russell, Greta.

Sigh… photos like this make me want to move to a city where I can live in a real house. Very pretty!

I love this style, too. The colors and patterns are so gorgeous and relaxing. They just make everything feel so home-y!

I agree! Wish I could visit this lady’s house, or at least her shop in downtown L.A. Someone should make a bed-and-breakfast modeled after this place.
